The Kerr County Market, which has been held every year since 2002,features artists displaying their original paintings, sculptures, fabrics, jewelry, wood carvings and more.We also have creative craftspeople offering all kinds of original and unusual hand-made items from bird houses to dried floral arrangements, from religious icons to rain sticks.

Looking for heritage tomatoes and herbs to plant in your own garden? You'll find them at The market. Perhaps you are looking for a special gift to celebrate an anniversary,a birthday, or a christening - you'll have plenty to choose from. If a day of shopping leaves you hungry and thirsty, we have vendors who can provide you with everything from barbeque to dessert, from home-made jams and jellies to exotic teas or fruit smoothies - all prepared under the strict supervision of the Department of Health.

Don't hesitate to bring your four-footed friends - on hot days in the summer many of our vendors put out doggie bowls of clean, cool water and if your pal feels a sudden need for a grassy lawn, well, there's plenty of that surrounding the courthouse. (We can also provide you with a plastic bag to dispose of the, ahem, droppings). We also welcome children of all ages, from babies in strollers or backpacks to teens, who always seem to find something they can't live without.

For more information please check back with us around March 2008, by which time the vendor list should be firm and digital photos of their wares will be posted on this page.

Until then - Happy Days! Happy Kerr County Market Days, that is!
